Colostrum is Enough

Colostrum is all your newborn needs. End of discussion.

There is no need to stress about your “milk coming in” - colostrum IS milk.

During the first 48 hours, latch baby as much as possible. Nipple stimulation is key!

Feed baby on demand. Nursing frequently is a GOOD thing!

Your baby is NOT hungry, starving, or needing to be supplemented with anything other than your colostrum.

If baby is extra sleepy or not latching, hand express and use your colostrum.

Trust the process. Trust your body. Trust that you are ENOUGH!

Our lactation support Hailey, CBC, offers classes and individual services to help support you through your breastfeeding journey! Reach out to us today to discuss how Hailey can come alongside and support you!
